Sales Presentation Training FAQ
What Presentation Training courses do you run?
For most companies we combine the two aspects of presentation training into one course with two steps:
- PREPARING highly impactful presentations.
- DELIVERING presentations more confidently
We also run advanced courses focusing in on each element, so please contact us if there is a specific aspect you would like to focus on.
Who are your Trainers?
Our approach is interactive and collaborative and all our trainers have significant commercial as well as training experience.
We have a wide team of associates with a range of industry, category and channel experience so we match the trainer to the client's business.
We provide a short bio for each of our trainers when a presentation training is booked and we schedule in an introductory meeting prior to the training to clarify the client's objectives and specific areas they wish to focus on.
How are the training sessions run?
We offer the option of virtual or face to face training, and at different levels
Foundation level training courses are typically run over 1 day, with advanced courses being held over 2 days (with the option of an exercise in between).
Where can I find reviews or references?
We publish a selection of our most recent reviews on our website.
If you would like to speak to anyone who attended our presentation training courses or organised the training courses for their team then please use this form to contact us and we'll happily provide you with references.
How long are the virtual training sessions?
Virtual training will be held via zoom with the relevant zoom links sent out to attendees in advance along with the agenda.
1/2 day timings will be 9.30-1pm unless changes are specifically requested and agreed with the client.
A break will be scheduled for 11-11.30 with a brief reflective exercise so attendees stay focused.
How long are the face to face training sessions?
Face to face training can be run over 1 or 2 days (ideally with a break in between) and timings are usually 9.30-4.30pm with breaks.
Where will the training be held?
Face to face training usually takes place at client's offices and the standard price quotes includes Dynamic Reasoning's reasonable travel fees (car or train) and overnight stay prior to the training to prepare the room in advance.
Dynamic Reasoning can also book training rooms with additional fee agreed with the client in advance as part of the training contract.
If Dynamic Reasoning's trainers are required to travel by air then there would be an additional travel fee agreed with the client in advance as part of the training contract.
What does your pre-planning meeting involve?
We invest time up front with key stakeholders to understand the opportunities and objectives for the sales team so we can agree the key areas of focus for the training.
This usually takes place over zoom or teams for convenience but we are happy to meet in person if the logistics allow.
What do your sales surveys cover?
Designed by Dynamic Reasoning, we use two surveys either side of our training courses.
The Pre-training survey will establish where the sales team are currently, identifying strengths as well as any gaps/ opportunities to focus on in the training.
We then follow up with a survey post training to measure the team’s progress
What does the post training meeting involve?
For every client specific presentation course we review the training and the surveys with the key stakeholders, summarising the outputs into a report that highlights recommendations for the team to focus on moving forwards.
What does the advanced exercise include?
For more advanced, comprehensive bespoke presentation training, we extend our training over 2 days, with a break and a tailored exercise in between, which helps to embed learning and form habits, improving effectiveness.
Can we swap the sales training places?
Yes - if your account team changes, with new starters or changes in roles and responsibilities than we can easily swap over the training place. You just need to contact our training team who will arrange this for you.
How are the sessions interactive?
We use mixed media tools such as Slido to run polls during our presentation training sessions to increase engagement and promote reflection. which helps to embed skills. This has been highly successful in every training course we've run.
Can I share the training materials with others?
The training materials provided are for attendees' personal use only. They are not to be shared, distributed, or reproduced without prior permission. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in respecting our intellectual property rights.
